Living

Tonight I say goodbye to a friend. I didn't get to know him well but I knew him well enough to respect his spirit and gentle soul. He was a musician, guitarist and singer; one of the fellows I had met when I first came into the Bay Area and a person who made me feel welcome.

A bunch of us are getting together at Gulfport on the Rocks to celebrate his life and time among us. I feel privileged to have been specifically asked to be there. Tim, you will be missed.

No one gets out of here alive, so live it while ya got it.
